Calendar & Contacts (CalDAV/CardDAV)¶
The Corporate Email plan (Zimbra) includes calendar and contacts management with sync across all your devices via CalDAV (calendar) and CardDAV (contacts).
Corporate Email Only
Calendar and contacts sync is available only on the Corporate Email (Zimbra/Carbonio) plan. The Professional plan does not include these features.
Connection Details¶
Use the following settings to configure any CalDAV/CardDAV-compatible application:

Multiple Calendars
If you have more than one calendar in Zimbra, replace Calendar with the desired calendar name. To see all available calendars, log in to the webmail at https://cluster.emailprofissional.pro.
Thunderbird¶
Thunderbird supports CalDAV and CardDAV natively starting from version 102+.
Calendar (CalDAV)¶
- Open Thunderbird and go to File > New > Calendar
- Select On the Network
- Fill in:
- Format: CalDAV
- Location:
https://cluster.emailprofissional.pro/dav/[email protected]/Calendar
- Click Find Calendars
- When prompted, enter your credentials:
- Username: your full email address
- Password: your email password
- Check Remember password
- Select the calendars you want to sync and click Subscribe
Contacts (CardDAV)¶
- Go to Address Book (sidebar icon or
Ctrl+Shift+B) - Click File > New > CardDAV Address Book
- Fill in:
- Username: your full email address
- Location:

- Click Continue
- Enter your password when prompted
- Select the available address books and click Continue
Microsoft Outlook (Windows)¶
Outlook does not support CalDAV/CardDAV natively. You need to install the free CalDav Synchronizer plugin.
Install the Plugin¶
- Download CalDav Synchronizer from https://caldavsynchronizer.org
- Close Outlook
- Run the installer and follow the instructions
- Reopen Outlook — a new CalDav Synchronizer tab will appear in the ribbon
Set Up Calendar¶
- Click the CalDav Synchronizer tab > Synchronization Profiles
- Click the + icon (Add) and select Generic CalDAV/CardDAV
- In the Server Settings tab:

- Click Test or discover settings to verify the connection
- In the Sync Settings tab, set the sync interval (e.g., 15 minutes)
- Click OK to save
Set Up Contacts¶
- Repeat the steps above, but in step 3 use:

- In the Outlook Settings tab, select the Outlook contacts folder where you want to sync
Outlook for Mac
Outlook for Mac does not support CalDAV plugins. Use the native macOS Calendar and Contacts apps instead (see the macOS section below).
Android¶
Android does not support CalDAV/CardDAV natively. We recommend the DAVx⁵ app (available on Google Play Store and F-Droid).
Install DAVx⁵¶
- Install DAVx⁵ from the Google Play Store
- Open DAVx⁵ and grant calendar and contacts permissions when prompted
Add Account¶
- Tap the + button to add a new account
- Select Login with URL and user name
- Fill in:

- Password: your email password
- Base URL:
- Tap Login
- DAVx⁵ will automatically detect your calendars and contact lists
- Check the items you want to sync
- Tap the sync icon to perform the first sync
Background Sync
Some Android devices may kill DAVx⁵ in the background to save battery. Go to Settings > Battery > DAVx⁵ and disable Battery optimization to ensure continuous sync.
After setting up DAVx⁵, your calendars and contacts will automatically appear in Android's Google Calendar and Contacts apps.
iPhone and iPad (iOS)¶
iOS supports CalDAV and CardDAV natively.
Calendar (CalDAV)¶
- Go to Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Add Account
- Select Other
- Tap Add CalDAV Account
- Fill in:

- iOS will verify the settings and add the account
Contacts (CardDAV)¶
- Go to Settings > Contacts > Accounts > Add Account
- Select Other

After setup, your calendars will appear in the Calendar app and your contacts in the Contacts app.
macOS¶
macOS supports CalDAV and CardDAV natively in the Calendar and Contacts apps.
Calendar (CalDAV)¶
- Open the Calendar app
- Go to Calendar > Accounts... (or System Settings > Internet Accounts)
- Click Add Other Account... > CalDAV Account
- Select Manual type
- Fill in:

- User Name: your full email address
- Password: your email password

Contacts (CardDAV)¶
- Open the Contacts app
- Go to Contacts > Accounts... (or System Settings > Internet Accounts)

Troubleshooting¶
Cannot connect¶
- Verify your username and password are correct by logging in to the webmail:
https://cluster.emailprofissional.pro - Confirm you are using your full email address as the username
- Check that the CalDAV/CardDAV URL is correct, including your email address in the URL
Calendar or contacts not syncing¶
- Check your internet connection
- On Android (DAVx⁵): make sure battery optimization is disabled for the app
- Force a manual sync in the application
- On Thunderbird: right-click the calendar and select Synchronize
SSL certificate error¶
- Make sure you are using
https://(nothttp://) in the URL - If the error persists, contact support: [email protected]
Duplicate calendars¶
- Check that you haven't added the same account twice
- On DAVx⁵: remove duplicate accounts in the app settings
