ITAD & IT Equipment Buyback

ITAD (IT Asset Disposition) is the process of safely retiring the IT equipment a company is replacing: eliminating the data with evidence, recovering the value of whatever can still be resold, and sending the rest to proper environmental disposal. InteSys performs all three steps in a single operation — and buys the lots that still have market value.

Replacing IT equipment? We buy it

Idle equipment in storage is idle money — and a data breach waiting to happen. InteSys buys corporate lots of:

  • laptops, desktops and workstations;
  • servers and storage systems;
  • monitors and peripherals.

The process is simple: you send your inventory (or ask for help building it), our team evaluates each item and presents a commercial proposal. Equipment with resale value goes through certified data sanitization first — security before remarketing, always. Items with no economic viability move on to environmentally responsible recycling.

Turn a disposal expense into revenue

In many projects, the value recovered from selling the equipment partially or fully offsets the cost of the destruction and logistics operation. Disposal stops being only a cost.

How much is my equipment lot worth?

It depends on model, configuration, age, quantity and condition. A good inventory speeds up the evaluation:

Information Why it matters
Model and manufacturer Sets resale demand
CPU, memory and storage Configuration weighs more than age
Purchase year Indicates remaining lifecycle
Quantity per model Homogeneous lots are more liquid
Condition Screen, battery, chassis and working order
Faulty items Go to recycling, but still belong in the inventory

No inventory ready? Photos and approximate quantities are enough for a first evaluation.

Data first, resale second

Selling a corporate laptop without sanitization means handing over contracts, records and credentials with it. That's why, at InteSys, the order never changes:

  1. every device is logged by serial number;
  2. its media goes through verified sanitization (or physical destruction when verification is not possible);
  3. only then does the device move on to resale;
  4. your company receives the per-serial certificate — evidence for the LGPD (Article 16 of Law No. 13,709/2018) and for audits.

Reverse logistics and environmental responsibility

Whatever has no resale value does not end up in a common landfill. After destruction or triage, materials move into recycling and recovery chains for electronic waste under Brazil's National Solid Waste Policy (Law No. 12,305/2010). Reusing what still has value and recycling what doesn't is the safest, most economical and most sustainable operation — and it feeds your ESG reporting.
